Be An Alberta Beach Bum
It’s easy to be an Alberta Beach Bum in our corner of northeastern Alberta. The Bonnyville, Lac La Biche and M.D. of Bonnyville region have the best beaches in Alberta. With close to 200 lakes we have a lot of beach to explore. You can play all day on our sandy beaches .
Park your bum on our Alberta beaches. There is usually some type of weekend entertainment at Kinosoo Beach in the City of Cold Lake. Take a drive over the causeway to access one of our island beaches in Sir Winston Churchill Park outside of Lac La Biche. Stretch out – way out – on the sandy shores of Muriel Lake, near Bonnyville. Or head to the secluded spits of sand on many of our lakes that provide quiet retreats for family picnics.
Don’t want to spend too much time bumming around at the beach! Then be sure to pack your fishing rods, bring the boat and wakeboard, or load up the canoe or kayak to pass the time on one of our many lakes.
